Introduction and tracks

Tourism and hospitality services can advance sustainability and wellbeing through a combination of eco-friendly practices, community support, and holistic traveler and customer experiences. This involves minimizing environmental impact through resource conservation, promoting the socio-economic welfare of local communities, and offering travel that enhances a person's physical and mental health. This conference explores innovative pathways to sustainability and well-being in tourism and hospitality, with the following topic areas thatfall under nine tracks.

Track 3 Regenerative destinations and communities' well-being

Track 4 Equity diversity and inclusion: addressing Talent management challenges and creating better

futures

Track 5 Health and wellness in tourism and hospitality

Track 6 Educating toward sustainability and well-being - policy, curricula, pedagogy, and assessment

Track 7 Technological innovations toward sustainability and well-being in tourism and hospitality

Track 8 Sustainable entrepreneurship and circular business models

Track 9 Other topics relevant to the theme of this conference

 

The conference invites conceptual, empirical, and methodological research papers and case studies related to the above tracks. The conference equally welcomes and considers submissions of Full papers and Extended Abstracts. At least one author of the accepted full papers and extended abstracts should register and present their study during the conference. The conference is bilingual and welcomes paper submissions and presentations either in English or Chinese.

Submission guideline and dates

A full paper in English should be between 4,000 and 5,000 words (including references, tables and figures). A full paper in Chinese should be between 6,000 - 9,000 Chinese characters (including references, tables and figures).

An extended abstract in English should be a maximum of 1000 words (including references, tables and figures).An extended abstract in Chinese should be a maximum of 1500 characters (including references, tables andfigures).

All submissions must be original and have never been published before, All contributions should follow the format and style prescribed by the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association (APA, 7thedition).

All author information should be placed in a separate file - title page.

Submissions should identify the conference track that they submit to.

Coordinated by respective track chairs, the submissions will go through a double-blind review process. Full papers will be eligible for nomination of best conference papers.
